News: France respects cop slaughtered in Champs-Elysees assault


France's top authorities and presidential applicants are going to a national service to respect the cop slaughtered by an Islamic fanatic on the Champs-Elysees.
Far-right competitor Marine Le Pen and anti-extremist Emmanuel Macron, who are going head to head in France's May 7 presidential overflow, are going to the service Tuesday in the inward yard of the Paris police central station.


French President Francois Hollande will make a discourse to pay tribute to Xavier Jugele, 37. The Paris cop was shot to death a week ago when an attacker opened discharge with an ambush rifle on a police van stopped on the most popular road in the French capital. Two different officers were injured.

The assailant was shot and executed by officers. The Islamic State amass immediately guaranteed duty regarding the assault.
