19:40: Gianluigi Donnarumma has signed a new contract with AC Milan.

The Italian giants tweeted: "#ACMilan and @gigiodonna1 have reached an agreement to extend the goalkeeper's contract through to 2021 #Gigio2021".

The talented goalkeeper had been linked with moves to Real Madrid and Manchester United but will now continue at the San Siro next season.

19:00: Tiemoue Bakayoko is edging closer to joining Chelsea with Manchester United yet to make an offer,

The Manchester Evening News, Chelsea have always been in pole position and United haven’t made a bid.

They state the Blues will finally complete a deal for the 22-year-old ‘very soon’.

And with United yet to make their move Chelsea are confident of completing his signing with an announcement due when the midfielder returns from holiday.

18:30: Steve Mandanda has left Crystal Palace to return to Marseille after making just 10 appearances for the Eagles.

The France international suffered with injury last season and then failed to force Wayne Hennessey out of the No1 spot.

A statement on Palace’s website read: “Everyone at the club would like to thank Steve for his efforts and wish him the best in the future.”

18:15: Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to sign a new deal with Manchester United as he continues his return to fitness.

Despite being officially released by the club this month, the 35-year-old has stayed on at the club’s Carrington training ground where he is working to get back to full fitness.

He was expected to be sidelined until the New Year but he is now targeting an October return.

And with that news, The Sun claim Jose Mourinho is ready to offer Ibrahimovic a short-term deal that will run until the end of the season.

17:30: Arsenal captain Per Mertesacker believes Alexis Sanchez will be playing alongside him next season despite the Chilean being linked with a move away.

“Yes, definitely (Sanchez will stay). We have a strong squad and we do not want to lose any players,” he told Fox Sports.

“Even in their final contract year we need them. We cannot afford to lose them.

“If you're talking about championships, to keep our best player is key."

16:40: Chelsea are preparing a £71million bid to sign Alvaro Morata.

That’s according to Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri.

He tweeted: "Chelsea had contacts along whole weekend with Real Madrid for Morata.

“Preparing €80m [£71m] bid."

The Spaniard’s most likely destination now looks to be Chelsea after Manchester United signed Romelu Lukaku.

15:55: Hector Bellerin has approved Barcelona’s pursuit of his signature and wants to return to the Nou Camp.

Barcelona have been given a boost as they look to bring back their academy graduate from Arsenal.

But Bellerin does not want to publicly force a move and will not submit a transfer request.

The 22-year-old is said to be crazy about securing a move back to Barcelona and has privately committed to returning, according to Spanish publication Diario Gol.

14.40: Arsenal are keeping tabs on West Ham youngster Domingos Quina, according to Sky Sports.

Quina joined West Ham last summer from Chelsea and instantly impressed, featuring in the Hammers' Europa League qualifiers last term.

Before making the move to the London Stadium, Quina was a target for Arsenal who offered the 17-year-old a contract.

And Sky Sports claim the Gunners are now back in for the highly-rated teenager after his fine performances for Portugal Under-19s at the Euros in Georgia.

14:20: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is edging closer towards an Arsenal exit, reports claim.

According to Sky Sports, the chances of Oxlade-Chamberlain signing a new contract with Arsenal are “virtually nil.”

The versatile midfielder, who was also deployed at right wing-back last season, has entered the final year of his contract with Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City tracking his situation.

The report claims talks over extending his deal have stalled, and there’s no other discussions planned for the near future.

13:50: Tottenham are showing interest in Monaco defender Kamil Glik, according to French newspaper L'Equipe.

The report says they are yet to make a formal offer but Mauricio Pochettino is an admirer of the Poland international.

Spurs are reportedly not the only Premier League side tracking the 29-year-old with a number of unnamed English clubs also in the running.

13:40: Stoke midfielder Marko Arnautovic has put in a transfer request to leave the club after four seasons, but the final decision rests with Mark Hughes.

He signed a new four-year deal last year, but he has been looking for a move - with West Ham the top suitor - since Stoke ended last season 13th in the league.

"Marko and his people have put in a transfer request but that happens on occasions. Any comings and goings are at our discretion and it's our decision ultimately," Hughes told Stoke's Sentinel newspaper.

"Players can express an opinion or a view in terms of where they see their future but at the end of the day contracted players are contracted to the club and ultimately we have the final say," he added.

13:30: Juan Mata has welcomed Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United.

The Spanish playmaker posted a photo wearing Lukaku’s massive boots with the caption: “Welcome Romelu Lukaku - aka biggest boots EVER!”

The post has received over 18,000 retweets and a further 45k likes.
