Hot News: CCT to resume Onnoghen’s trial on February four

The Code of Conduct judicature has mounted February four for the beginning of hearing within the charges filed against the suspended magistrate of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bruno Walter Onnoghen.
The Heads, (Press & Public Relations) Ibraheem Al-Hassan, disclosed this during a release on Thursday.

Onnoghen is facing six counts of false assets declaration filed against him by the Code of Conduct Bureau.
The judicature had earlier adjourned sitting within the matter following Associate in Nursing interim order of the Court of charm that ordered it to remain proceedings.

But the Court of charm on weekday reversed the interim order by refusing to grant the injunction sought-after by Onnoghen.

The court same section 306 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act has barred the court from stopping a criminal matter.

The release same the judicature mounted the new date when receiving a letter from the CCB.
“The call was reached these days sequel to a correspondent from Code of Conduct Bureau, applying for the beginning of trial of the case captioned; Application for beginning of trial of the case of FRN V. Hon. Justice Onnoghen Nkanu Bruno Walter prophet case No: CCT/ABJ/01/19, addressed  to Hon. Chairman Code of Conduct judicature, dated thirtieth Jan, 2019, together signed by monocot genus Ibrahim Usman (Esq) and Moslem Danjuma Ali (Esq).
